Set up Authorized Payers (such as a parent, spouse, or sponsor) to view and pay the bill on your behalf. IMPORTANT: After you go through the online authorization, you must give your Authorized Payer their login name and password which you created to enable them to access CU Bill&Pay. They will receive an email with the log in link.
Who is responsible for paying a CU Student’s Bill?
If they are helping pay the bill on the student’s behalf, students must give them access to CUBill&Pay by authorizing them as payers. Students can authorize payers in Buff Portal. Students are ultimately responsible for payment of the bill. Authorized Payer access is separate and distinct from CU Guest Access and FERPA Consent to Release.
