How do I pay my DeSoto water bill?
The customer will be responsible for paying the remaining amount by the due date of the current bill. If additional time is needed to pay the water bill, you must contact DeSoto Water Utilities at 972.230.9627 and press “7” to speak with a customer service representative. All payout arrangements or extensions must be made in writing.
How do I get a discount on my water bill?
If you are 65 years of age or older, and currently reside at the property, you may request a discount on your monthly water bill. Fill out this form and provide a copy of your driver license. You may either fax the information to 972.230.5795 or return it to the Utility Billing office located in City Hall at 211 E. Pleasant Run Rd.
What happens if I don’t pay my water bill?
Customers are billed monthly for water, sewer, refuse (garbage and brush collection), and drainage services. If payment is not received by the bill due date, a $5.00 late penalty is assessed and the customer has an additional ten (10) days to remit payment.
