Transfer of Service – Commercial

To transfer service from one Killeen address to another you must come to our office. For same day service you need to be in our office by 12 p.m. After Hours service is available for an additional fee.

The person applying for the transfer of service must be listed as an authorized agent on the current account or bring a letter of authorization from the owner/authorized agent.

Service can be on at both addresses for up to 7 calendar days. If you require both addresses on for longer than 7 calendar days a second deposit will be required for the new address.

  • Certificate of Occupancy
  • Lease or Deed to the new address
  • Picture Identification Examples: Alien Registration Card, Drivers License, Military Identification Card, Passport

If the required deposit for the new address is higher than the current deposit amount the difference has to be paid before service can be connected.

It is the responsibility of the customer to contact the Utility Collections Department to stop billing on your account. If a customer does not notify our department to terminate service, the account will continue to bill and the customer will be responsible for all charges accumulated because of any failure to contact us. A confirmation number is given when the request is made for customer records.

An email will be sent back with the confirmation number.

New Account – Commercial

To apply for a new account, you must complete a Commercial Service Application and return it to our office in person or by email with the required documents. For same day service the request must be received by 12:00 p.m. After hours service is available for an additional fee.

One of the following items are needed:

  • Articles of Incorporation
  • Assumed Name Certificate (from Priest Drive Annex)
  • Certificate of Partnership
  • Proof of Ownership

All of the following items are needed:

  • Certificate of Occupancy (from City Hall)
  • Lease or Deed to the property (If you are not the owner, a letter stating that you have authority to open the account written on company letterhead)
  • Photo ID
  • Proof of Tax ID or Social Security Number
