July 1, 2023, began the third year of the current five-year rate case. The rates and fees were adopted by the SCV Water Board of Directors on June 15, 2021, and are in effect through June 30, 2026.

How do I start service with Santa Clarita Valley water?

You must call us directly. All START and STOP service requests need to be made a minimum of two business days in advance. You can apply for service by phone or in person. Call our Customer Care department at (661) 294-0828.

Where does Santa Clarita water come from?

A series of wells pump the groundwater into our system. About half of our water comes from the Sierra Nevada range. It flows off the mountains then through the delicate Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta before reaching the Santa Clarita Valley via the State Water Project aqueduct.

What is the SCV water assistance program?

Qualifying SCV Water residential customers can receive a $10 monthly credit towards their fixed service charge, for up to a 12-month period during the fiscal year. Assistance will be given to qualifying customers from the priority group, on a “first-come, first-served” basis, so long as funds are available.

No registration is required for “One Time Pay,” the fastest way to pay online and confirm payment.

Does SCV water offer a ratepayer Assistance Program?

Apply for SCV Water’s pilot Ratepayer Assistance Program (RAP). RAP was developed to help some low-income residential households stay current on their water bills.
